Jud McAfee, 43, of Oakdale died Sunday, Oct. 31 at his home.
A native of White Sulphur Springs, Montana, he lived in Oakdale for 17 years. He was a cattle rancher for five years.
He belonged to the California Team Roping Association, West Coast Roping Association, United States Team Roping Club and the National Senior Pro Roping Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dani G. McAfee of Oakdale; mother, Florence McAfee of Montana; brothers, Lyle McAfee of South Carolina, Pat McAfee of Escalon and Bart McAfee of Reno, Nev.
Memorial service was held on Thursday, Nov. 4 at Oakdale Saddle Club.
