Kenneth C. Cook, Jr. was born to Kenneth C. Cook and Hazel Simas of Tracy, CA on April 23, 1968. He attended Escalon and Tracy schools and received a degree in Electronics. Ken enjoyed working and serving others. In Nevada, he worked on a large cattle ranch, a casino, a convenience store/gas station, and motel. He traveled to Missouri to help his uncle, aunt, and grandmother operate a motel/diner. When he returned to California, he worked at a mini mart/gas station in Tracy until he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He underwent surgery on October 20, 2022, radiation, and chemotherapy. Ken lost his battle with cancer on July 15, 2024. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ken is survived by his father, Kenneth C. Cook (Diann), sisters, Melissa Neal (Nate) and their children, Alyssa, James and Emilee of El Cajon, and sister, Corrine Cook of Tennessee, Uncle John and Shirley Cook, and Uncle Daryl Capps. Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel; Uncle Altus (Peggi); grandparents Ken O., Elizabeth Cook of Vernalis and Harvey and Hilda Capps of Escalon.
