Mary Frieda Freeseha was born on January 28, 1962, to Tony and Frieda Schleiss. My beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 62. Her life was a beautiful mix of love, laughter, and dedication to her family.

Together with her husband, Matthew, she raised 15 children, filling their home with warmth, humor, and countless cherished memories. She had an incredible ability to make those around her feel seen and loved, and her personality left an impression on everyone who knew her.

She endured the deep losses of her infant daughter, Raquel, and her son, Matthew carrying their memories in her heart while continuing to show unwavering love to her family. Known for her sense of humor, generosity to all, and strong relationship with God, she was the kind of person who made every moment brighter. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her but will forever be remembered with love.

Mary is survived by her husband, Matthew; her children, John, Anthony, Joel, Maryrose, Theresa, Annmarie, Michaelangelo, Monique, Dominic, Veronica, Frances, Zachary, Juliana, and Nicholas; her mother, Frieda Schleiss; siblings, Rita and Frieda; and her 38 grandchildren, with her first great-grandchild on the way. She is now at peace, reunited with her children Raquel, and Matthew, her father Tony Schleiss, brother Joseph Schleiss, Aunt Milga and Aunt Hilda, her nephews Johnny and Eddie, and her In-laws, Sharon and John Fujii.

Services were held on January 7, 2025, at St Patrick’s, followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a monetary donation toward the cost of the funeral, made directly to Deegan Funeral Chapels would be greatly appreciated.
