Patricia Lou Brown, 71, died Saturday, Aug. 27 at Memorial Hospital with her family all around her bedside.
Born Nov. 18, 1939 in Deadwood, SD, she moved to Escalon 48 years ago and retired from Social Security on Jan. 1, 2004 after working there for many years. She spent her earlier years of life on the sands of Manhattan Beach. She was also involved heavily in Christian Youth Groups in earlier years.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Doug; three children, Steve, Sherri, Ron; and one adopted daughter, Linda from Turlock; brother Dick; daughter-in-law Peggy and three grandchildren Nicky, Jake and Molly.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and younger brother.
She will be greatly missed by everyone and all those she touched.
Visitation was Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon. Graveside services were Thursday, Sept. 1 at Burwood Cemetery on River Road in Escalon.
