Susan Lyn Sauter, 66, passed away at Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana on October 8, 2023. Susan was born to the late John D. and Priscilla J (Cook) Hynes on January 24, 1957 in Escalon, California.

Susan was known to be a caring, quiet, lovable, peaceful woman with a laid back lifestyle. She cherished being in the mountains enjoying the sun and taking drives with her family on the North Fork Road. When Susan was younger, she enjoyed going camping and riding horses. She had quite the green thumb, always tending to her flowers and plants. Her favorite flowers were snapdragons and Indian paintbrushes.

Rolling, Stones, The Beatles, The Who and Stevie Nicks could be heard on the radio while Susan would be enjoying the sun while sitting outdoors or when she would be decorating her home.

Susan was a homemaker for her loving husband of 44 years, Larry, and their daughter Sarah and son Matthew.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and one sibling Robyn Hynes. She is survived by her husband Larry, children Sarah J. Lower (Vernon) and son Matthew T. Sauter; two grandkids, Annabelle Mae Sauter and Mason Timothy Sauter, and her sister, Nancy Borden (Jim).
