Wilma Louise Miraglio, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1918 and was raised on a ranch in Escalon. She moved to Stockton and worked for the Dept. of the Army during World War II and later at the San Joaquin County Probation Dept., retiring after 23 years.

She was fond of gardening and loved pets, especially cats, frequently feeding many of them throughout the neighborhood.

Survivors include her son Patrick; three granddaughters, Gina Ornelas, Teri Rios, Laurie Miraglio; and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pat in 2001.

The family gives thanks to the caregivers at The Meadows in Elk Grove and the Vitas Hospice Care for helping Wilma retain her dignity and spirit.

There will be a Rosary held at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton on Thursday, May 30 at 6 p.m.

A Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 19399 E. Highway 120, Ripon, at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31.
