April 14 action in the El Portal Bowling League saw Memorial Splitting Headaches roll to the top with a 27½-20½ mark in the weekly league.

They were followed by Bartelink Dairy, 27-21; Foxy Ladies, 26½-21½; Farm Girls, Tupperware & Travel, 26-22; Escalon Body & Frame, 25-23; Dutch Girls, 17-31; Borba Dairy, 16-32.

Four different bowlers hit the top weekly scoring categories, with a 180 scratch game from Barbara Webb, 461 scratch series by Janice Alcantor, 227 handicap game by Brandy Ramczyk and a 636 handicap series by Louise Spurgeon.

Season to date leaders are Kelly Homen, individual high average, 158.49; Erlene Price, handicap series, 689; Ginger Serpa, handicap game, 268; Kelly Homen, scratch series, 564; Barbara Webb, scratch game, 223.
