Weekly bowling action continues for teams in the El Portal Bowling League, with weeks 21 and 22 now in the books.

The Flocking Flamingoes rolled their way to the top in Feb. 13 competition, going 15-5. They were followed by Elaine’s Travel, Escalon Body & Frame, Mis-Splits, 12-8; Foxie Ladies, 11-9; Always Trying, 10-10; Pin-Ups, 9-11; Val De Rose, 8-12; Bartelink Dairy, 7½-12½; Dutch Girls, 3½-16½.

Top scores for the week were by Cindy Kruger, 178 scratch game and 489 scratch series; Marie Awalt, 236 handicap game; Robin Aufdermauer, 635 handicap series.

The Feb. 20 action saw three teams on top with The Flocking Flamingoes, Elaine’s Travel and Mis-Splits all going 15-9. They were followed by Always Trying, Escalon Body & Frame, 14-10; Foxie Ladies, 12-12; Bartelink Dairy, 11½-12½; Pin-Ups, 11-13; Val De Rose, 8-16; Dutch Girls, 4½-19½.

For the week, Jennifer Cunningham bowled a 181 high scratch game; Anita Hay, 489 scratch series; Sandy Cox, 245 handicap game; Ali Van Ryn, 661 handicap series.

Season to date leaders are Cindy Kruger, 160.63 individual high average; Kelly Homen, 556 scratch series; Ruth Sonke, 212 scratch game; Paula Phipps, 694 handicap series; Lenny Nottley, 256 handicap game.
